Madison - Mayor Dave Cieslewicz made the following statement today regarding the passing of former Madison Mayor Otto Festge:

"Like many, I was saddened to hear of Otto Festge's passing. Otto guided Madison through a challenging period in its history, and the community is better for his leadership. When I became mayor, I always could rely upon Otto for advice and counsel, as someone who truly appreciated the challenges of leading this community. On behalf of the city, I would like to offer my condolences to his family and his many friends."
