Madison - Mayor Dave Cieslewicz made the following statement today regarding the appointment of Sen. Mark Miller (D-Monona) as co-chair of the Joint Committee on Finance:

"Senator Miller is an outstanding choice to help lead this key budget-writing committee. He is a leader of great integrity and a consensus-builder who will get results for the people of Wisconsin. I am especially pleased that someone from the Madison area has been placed in this important leadership role to help advocate for the interests of our region."
