Natalie Erdman, Director of the Planning and Community and Economic Development Department for the City of Madison, will be retiring from City government.

Erdman was appointed Director in July 2015. She served as interim Director starting in February 2015 and as Executive Director of Madison’s Community Development Authority since 2010.

"As Director, Ms. Erdman has demonstrated great leadership in all aspects of this most difficult job," said Mayor Soglin. "That includes advancing the City’s efforts in affordable housing, development and economic development as well as leading the Department’s management team. Like so many others she has worked with, I am thankful she accepted the challenge of serving as the Department’s Director during the last four years."
