Women's History Month wrapped up in March but Madison Public Library's celebration continues, inviting women in the Madison community to record their stories as part of the Women's History Edition of Who Matters? on
Saturday, June 15. 

Who Matters? Women's History Edition is a story-gathering and photography project intended to create a space, physical and online, where women can talk to and listen to other women.

Participants are invited to share a story about growing up or living in Madison, particularly their experiences navigating education, community, the workplace, a faith community, family life, or social life as a woman in this city. The goal is to record short conversations with women about their history and ways in which being a woman in Madison spaces affected their experiences.

Story gathering & photography day is Saturday, June 15 between 10:00am and 3:00pm at Central Library.

Participants can sign up in pairs to record a short, 5 to 20 minute conversation and have their photograph taken by local artist Jennie Bastian.
