Madison Meet & Eat to begin at Brittingham Park on Tuesday, August 5, 5:00-7:00PM

The city of Madison is excited to expand the Madison Meet & Eat to Brittingham Park on Tuesday nights this August. This unique neighborhood event brings together a collective of local food cart vendors and encourages friends and neighbors to enjoy a fun night out. The Brittingham Park series will be held on Tuesday nights in August along with the Brittingham Farmers Market.

Madison Meet & Eat is an initiative by Madison Mayor Paul Soglin to bring together community members and local food vendors in order to address “food deserts.” A food desert is defined as an area where healthy, affordable food is difficult to obtain.  Madison Meet & Eat will address this issue by introducing attendees to new and local food options in a fun, neighborhood atmosphere.

Bring your friends and family to Brittingham Park on Tuesdays and to Meadowood Shopping Center Thursday nights from 5:00-7:00PM to enjoy healthy, local foods and the company of your neighbors at Madison Meet & Eat. Due to limited parking, guests are encouraged to walk, bike or take the bus.
