On Monday, May 21, Wisconsin & Southern Railroad will reduce westbound University Avenue to one lane of traffic in order to repair the westbound railroad crossing at Babcock Drive.  Work and lane closures will only occur during off-peak traffic hours—9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, May 22, Wisconsin & Southern Railroad will reduce eastbound Campus Drive/Johnson Street to one lane of traffic in order to repair the eastbound railroad crossing.  Work and lane closures will only occur during off-peak traffic hours—9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The purpose of this project is to provide a smoother crossing for vehicles.  Work will include removing the old rubber panels within the railroad crossing and replacing with new asphalt.

The pedestrian crossing across University Avenue and Campus Drive at the railroad tracks will remain open at all times.

Drivers should expect westbound delays on the 21st and eastbound delays on the 22nd due to the lane closures.
