On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, Madison residents can once again purchase recycling fee stickers and make other in-person transactions at the Streets Division offices.

Streets Division offices are located at 1501 W. Badger Rd. and 4602 Sycamore Ave. They are open 7:30am to 4:00pm from Monday to Friday. The offices are closed during holidays, including Monday, July 5, 2021.

When are recycling fee stickers required?
Recycling fee stickers are only necessary if you are bringing an item to the drop-off site that requires a fee.

A list of the items that require a fee can be found on the Streets Division’s website.

Will I need a sticker if I schedule my large items to be picked up from the curb?
If you are scheduling curbside pickup for items that require a fee, you can pay the required fee by using the work order system.

After you submit the work order, and pay the fee if one is required, residents just need to set the item out on the set-out day they selected. For curbside pickup, you will not receive fee stickers in the mail.

I want to buy the sticker online and bring the item to a drop-off site. Can I do that?
You can use the work order system to purchase recycling fee stickers for items coming to the drop-off site.

Stickers will be mailed to the valid City of Madison address entered into the work order form after the online purchase was completed.

You need to wait until you receive the stickers before you can bring the item to the drop-off site.
