The Streets Division’s fall leaf and yard waste collection begins the week October 10, 2021.

All neighborhoods will receive three curbside collection opportunities.

Each neighborhood has been assigned dates when they should set their yard waste out for collection.

How to Get Your Leaves and Yard Waste Collected
Go to www.cityofmadison.com/YardWaste.

Enter your address into the form titled “When Do I Set Out Leaves & Yard Waste for Pickup”.

You will see the three dates when your yard waste should be set out for pickup.

The final step is to place the yard waste out correctly and then wait for crews to arrive.

Why are the set-out dates on Sunday?
Crews will begin collecting leaves and yard waste on Monday following the set-out Sunday. They will work through the week picking up from all the neighborhoods that share a set-out date.

It is important that yard waste and leaves are out on Sunday so they are ready for crews to pick up when they arrive to work in a neighborhood.

If you wait until later in the week to set the material out, you will miss your collection opportunity. Crews will not return for yard waste set out late.
