On Thursday, September 8th at 7:00 a.m. KS Energy Services will close the eastbound traffic and parking lanes of East Mifflin Street between North Paterson Street and North Brearly Street in order to complete construction of underground MG&E utilities.  Work in this block is expected to last until mid October. 
 
The westbound travel lane will remain open to both motor vehicle and bicycle traffic.  Eastbound bicycles will be detoured to East Dayton Street. 
 
The work within the 900 block of East Mifflin Street is the final phase of work on underground MG&E facilities that also included work in the 800 and 1000 blocks of East Mifflin Street.
 
The sidewalks on both sides of East Mifflin Street will remain open at all times.    

Construction is being coordinated to have minimal impact on events at Breese Stevens Field.
