Candlelit Snowshoe Hike
Saturday, January 17, 4–7pm
           
Enjoy the soft glow of over 1,000 candles as you meander through the trails of Aldo Leopold Nature Center Edna Taylor Conservation Park and Woodland Park.  This free event is fun for people of all ages and abilities can walk or snowshoe through Woodland Park.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own snowshoes. There will be a limited amount of snowshoes will be provided at the event. If there no snow, there will still be a walking hike. Please no pets skiing, or sleds.

After the hike, warm up around the roaring bonfire, or enjoy the warmth and displays at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center.  Hot chocolate and popcorn will be available for purchase.
Monona Transit will be providing a free shuttle bus from the Meriter Monona parking lot to Woodland Park (330 Femrite Drive) that will be running continuously from 3:30-7:00 pm.  NO parking is available at Aldo Leopold Nature Center.  You will need to use the shuttle for this event.  Thank you.
