Health & Public Safety
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
If you call 911 for your illness, one of the best things you can do is share your symptoms with the 911 call taker. They will be able to get the responders the information about your symptoms so they can prepare before arriving on scene. When first responders do arrive on scene, tell them exactly what you are experiencing and your entire medical history.

The Madison Fire Department administrative offices are closed. 24-hour emergency services are still available. We are following Public Health guidance on personal protective equipment (PPE), response plans, and communication.
Visit the Madison Fire Department Coronavirus (COVID-19) page for more information.
