The Madison area may receive 1 to 1 ½ inches of rain tonight with additional heavy rain possible Sunday night. The area is currently under a Flash Flood Watch.

Potential Rising Waters and Reminders on Sandbags and Parking
More rain is expected tonight through the middle of next week. A further rise in lake levels will occur if the area receives the amounts or rain predicted. City staff will continue to monitor the weather and the lake levels.

Lake Monona is still above the 100-year flood level and, even though we have had numerous days of sunshine, there are still flooding dangers. Do not remove sandbags.
