PV (Photovoltaics) Installation
Roof mounted array on the Streets West Vehicle Storage building. This array was installed in 2017 by the City’s Green Power Program. It is a 99.9 kW DC array with 370 modules and 6 inverters. The modules face due south and are tilted up 20 degrees from the roof. The array’s estimated yearly energy production is 130,252 kWh which is roughly 57 % of the building’s electricity use. The array’s production offsets roughly 99 metric tons of CO2 each year which is the equivalent of 245,980 miles driven by an average passenger vehicle.
