Project Update

6/12/2023 Update: 
The design of the S. Owen Drive reconstruction project has been delayed and City Engineering is working to allocate resources to continue project development. The project approval process and construction contract bidding will continue this year to assure construction in 2024, if not earlier. A revised project schedule with updated construction timeline will be shared as soon as possible. Please continue to follow this page for future project updates.

Project Overview

The purpose of this project is to reconstruct S. Owen Drive from Hillcrest Drive to Regent Street. Proposed work includes replacement of the asphalt pavement and road base, replacement of the sanitary sewer main and laterals, replacement of the storm sewer and private storm connections, installation of new curb and gutter, and replacement of sidewalk and drive aprons as needed.
