The City of Madison Engineering Division worked collaboratively within its agency and across the City to turn around five new options for homeless services in the City of Madison in the last two years. The sixth will be a new purpose-built full permanent men's shelter in 2024 on Bartillon Drive. Until then, the City agencies worked together to produce safe spaces for the homeless community during the COVID-19 Pandemic and today. The City of Madison Engineering Division is proud to lead the charge, and this video shows the journey in the last two years of teamwork, coordination, creativity and hard work.

This video was shot, written, edited by City of Madison Engineering Division Public Information Officer Hannah Mohelnitzky, hmohelnitzky@cityofmadison.com.

Thank you to all of the City's community partners near and far who helped the City complete these vital projects.
