On Tuesday, June 25 at 5:30pm (rain date Thursday, June 27 at 5:30pm) all are welcome to come celebrate Madison's newest mural titled The word ‘Yahara’ means ‘Catfish’ now gracing the bike paths Capital City Trail and the Yahara River Path where they meet at S. Thornton Ave behind Mickey’s Tavern at 1524 Williamson Street.

This bright yellow catfish mural, created by Duane Bohlman hints to the original names and meaning of the Yahara River. Come to the dedication celebration and learn more!

Enjoy face painting and screen printing (bring T-shirts).  Live music by none other than Catfish Stephenson, an American Blues musician who has played in Madison since 1968. 

Free and open to the public. Non-alcoholic refreshments provided.  All Ages are welcome!
