The Globetrotter Session will treat our audience to three excellent bands. They will certainly test our dance skills. Charanga (Agozá) is a steamy Cuban originated music and features violins and flutes. Tribu Baharu plays Champeta which is music from islands of Colombia and northern Colombia with strong African influences. While Red Baraat lays claim to the hottest dance repertoire in Brooklyn anchored by the infectious Indian Bhangra beat. Of course there will be terrific food and drink for sale. Also our Sessions Raffle (which boasts $6,000 in prizes) winners will be drawn on this evening at 8:15. So get to the park early to avoid the sales rush.
5- 6 pm — Charanga Agozá
6:30 – 7:45 – Tribu Baharu (Colombia)
8:15 — Raffle Drawing
