Savvy City Cycling is a bicycle commuting workshop - for beginners. Whether you've been riding for a while and want to commute to work or school, or just starting out and need to learn the basics, this workshop is for you. Learn more about safety, rules of the road, and share tips and tricks for making your bike part of your daily life. Bring your bike and park it outside or bring it into the Bubbler! You will also be designing a spoke card that shares your love for cycling, as well as working on easy projects to improve your visibility through a number of riding exercises and free or very low cost DIY projects. Each month's class will have a visiting organization at each talk so every class will be a bit different while also hitting some important points to start converting more of our everyday trips to be done by bike. Lastly, every class will be emboldened with a b-cycle ride around town to bring the movement, the art and the smiles to the people.
