Turning memories into memoir essays presents a spectacular opportunity to explore the writing craft while you discover new perspectives on your life. Each week in this 6-week workshop we'll discuss different aspects of writing short memoir essays, then read and share our stories. You'll produce up to five short essays (3-5 pages) that reflect your adventures, observations, and unique writing talents. About the Instructor: Sarah White is a published author and personal historian. She holds a Journalism degree from Indiana University, a certificate in Reminiscence and Life Story Work from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has presented more than 100 reminiscence writing workshops since 2004 and is never happier than when in the classroom with fellow lifelong learners. She blogs at TrueStoriesWellTold.com.
