Madison Parks, in conjunction with the City of Madison Engineering Division, will be replacing the existing beach shelter at Warner Park!

The proposed beach shelter will be the Madison Parks prototype shelter which has been recently constructed at Lake Edge ParkEsther Beach ParkPenn Park and is under construction currently at Olbrich Park. Replacement of this beach shelter was approved as part of the City of Madison's adopted Capital Budget, and as part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve Warner Park.

A public meeting will be held July 9, 2019 at 6:00pm for anticipated shelter construction in 2020. At this meeting, we hope to get input on both the beach shelter as well as, general improvements to the Warner Park beach area. The City of Madison Parks Division is holding a public input meeting to discuss replacement of the Warner Park beach shelter and surrounding area.
