The Promega Summer Art Showcase presents ‘Wall Bound,’ a historical perspective on Arizona Chicano Muralism. The exhibit will feature ten artists representing CALACA, a cultural center in Tempe, Arizona, that has the mission of advancing cultural arts through community initiatives.
The showcase will promote social-cultural awareness and historical enrichment using muralism, an artistic movement aimed at engaging and unifying communities. Artists will participate in an open-panel discussion at a symposium starting at 3:30pm on Tuesday, June 9 at the Promega BioPharmaceutical Technology Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The Exhibit Opening Reception will follow from 4:30pm–6:30pm and will feature a musical performance by Tony Castaneda and Zarco Guerrero.  For more information, visit: http://www.promega-artshow.com/
