The public is encouraged to attend a presentation from the artists who have been selected to create a proposal for public art in Pennsylvania Park at 1915 E. Johnson Street.

Three finalists were selected to create an eye-catching piece for this highly visible location that can be enjoyed by the residents in the adjacent Emerson East Neighborhood, ped/bike commuters, Madison East
High School students traveling along the City bike path, tourists driving past the park on their way to the Dane County Airport, automobile commuters traveling along E. Johnson St., and
visitors to the future Madison Public Market.

At this event, you will have the chance to hear from the artist how they approach public art and share what is important to you about the Park, neighborhood, and City.
