This multi-media program, with the artist in costume, will focus on the letters between the Claflin family - a Wisconsin farm family keeping the farm functioning and the patriarch who was in the Civil War. Judy Cook will read letters, play the tunes of the time and sing songs that were written and sung during the Civil War. The letters, images, and music combine to provide a fascinating insight into camp and home life in Middle America of the 1860s.
