How can we learn to feel truly at home in this fast-paced modern world? In this series, we learn to use yoga postures and breath as gateways to the richness of the present moment. We explore a set of simple yet profound yoga and mindfulness practices to nourish the body, to bring peace to the mind and to open the heart. This series is perfect for those who are new to yoga and mindfulness, as well as experienced practitioners who are interested in deepening their practice. Please bring your yoga mat, if you have one, and a sense of curiosity!

Tuesday class will be taught by Alicia Wright, RYT.
Alicia’s primary study is with Alignment Yoga creator Scott Anderson. She is a graduate of the 500-hour Alignment Yoga teacher training and is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500E level teacher. Alicia’s classes are straight forward and encourage people to rediscover their authentic selves, to trust their innate wisdom, and to reconnect to their inner potential and power.

Friday class will be taught by Kasumi Kato.
Kasumi Kato grew up in northern Japan, where she practiced meditation and reiki healing. For the last eighteen years, she has studied yoga, meditation, massage, and other healing arts throughout the world. She completed a 500-hour teacher training, both with Scott Anderson and Andrea Russell. Kasumi brings a calming presence and heart-centered approach to her yoga teaching and practice. She enjoys exploring ways to empower others to gain confidence in their potential for awakening.
