Come enjoy four Up-and-Coming Madison bands at their public CD Release Party
100 Block of State Street (rain location The Frequency 121 W Main St) 

The Madison Arts Collection selected five bands to participate in BandSwap and have invited four of them share their talents with the public at this BandSwap performance on State Street.

All Ages. Free and open to the public.
 
One of these bands will be chosen to play at the 12th Annual Madison Area Music Awards on July 12, 2015. All eligible artists can register for the 2015 MAMA Awards at this event. Other Madison BandSwap band benefits include:

• a music video created by students and graduates of MMI
• 1000 copies of their latest CD
• A one-year premium subscription to Broadjam

The band, "Lords of the Trident," was selected to be featured in the BandSwap Showcase at The Frequency at 9pm on Sept 20 and will receive a travel stipend to go to Fort Collins, Co to represent Madison in the BandSwap Homecoming this October. They will also receive a $200 licensing fee for placement of their CD on Yahara, a local on-line music library through the Madison Public Library; and an invitation to play at the 2015 Madison Area Music Awards
