Celebrate the energy of the sixties with color and pattern and community spirit.

Come join Madison fiber artist Cherie St. Cyr at The Bubbler – the downtown public Library’s hands-on creative space, to tie- dye your own shirts!

Madison Tie Dyed! is free, drop-in workshop and conversation about the Sixties led by fiber artist Cherie St. Cyr.

Cherie St. Cyr will demonstrate the process of making a tie-dye shirts as well as providing information on how to wash and care for the shirts.

She will also welcome participants to share their memories, stories and questions about the Sixties during the sessions.

Participants should wear old clothes and bring their own white or light colored cotton tee-shirts (no polyester, it doesn't take the dye) or bandanas to tie-dye (a limited number of FREE tee-shirts available to dye). Participants will be given bags to take their creations home to wash and dry.

Madison Tie-Dyed! will take place a few weeks before The Madison Reunion begins so participants can wear their creations during The Reunion June 14-16, 2018.

It is the artist's hope that after participating, Madison be filled with the color and pattern showing the energy of the Sixties.

Open to all ages.
