Opening celebration for the Madison Municipal Building's Art & Nature: The Year of the Environment celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and UW Madison's Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

Invite your Valentine or a special friend, bring a brown bag lunch, and spend your lunch hour on Friday, February 14th feeling your love for Art & Nature. Hear from some of the artists included in the 2020 Madison Municipal Building exhibition, chocolate cake provided courtesy of the Madison Arts Commission.

Opening comments from Stacie Reece, Madison's first Sustainability Coordinator and Emily Reynolds, Assistant Director Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, Curator, Dakota Mace, and many of the artists included in the 2020 Municipal Building Exhibition, including: Eric Adjetey Anang, Adriana Barrios, Derrick Buisch, Victor Castro aka TetraPAKMAN, Yeonhee Cheong, Thomas Ferrella, John Hitchcock, Romano Johnson, Barbara Justice, Aaron Laux, Roberto Torres Mata, Lianne Milton, Darcy Padilla, Beth Racette, Katherine Rosing,  Matthew Vivirito,  Daniella Willet-Rabin, Jeremy Wineberg, Maria Amalia Wood, Derick Wycherly as well as artists from the permanent collection.
