Learning how to track and identify the footprints of animals is an ancient and largely forgotten art that is not only important for hunters, but also enhances anyone’s outdoor experience. It’s fascinating to know what critters you are sharing the park with, and trying to track them down by following their trail is a lot of fun. Becoming an expert tracker can take years of practice. To get you started, Paul Noeldner, Master Naturalist and Bird & Nature Outing's Coordinator, will offer an introduction on the basics of identifying the footprints of common animals.
Let’s head outdoors and see what we can discover!
