*THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL* Madison Parks & REI - Madison  are partnering to bring you a fun activity to get outside and enjoy the snow! Hiking in snow can be a bit challenging at times. By learning the proper way to snowshoe it can make your winter hikes much more enjoyable! An experienced leader from REI will be in attendance to help give you the proper knowledge to snowshoe on your own. You will be fit for the proper size of snowshoes and learn the basic knowledge and technique of snowshoeing. The rest of the time will be spent snowshoeing Elver Park. Not only that, REI will also have hot chocolate, cider and light snacks to munch on!
 
Participants must weigh 40 pounds or more to participate.
To guarantee a pair of snowshoes to use at the event – you must register in advance.
