Date & Time:
Thursday, May 17, 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Location(s):
Hawthorne Library
2707 E. Washington Ave.
Madison, WI

Upper elementary (4th and 5th Grade) and middle school students are invited to Kids Code Madison, a weekly, drop-in coding club. In this volunteer-led program, youth can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations using programs and tools like Scratch and Trinket. New and experienced kid programmers welcome!

Special note: Programming activities are not appropriate for younger elementary school kids. Kids Code Madison is a club, not a class, so you can come any week, anytime! New programmers will be given some direction with tutorials and help from volunteers, and experienced programmers can work on ongoing projects, start something new, help a friend, or practice the “sushi” (mini, bit sized) skill of the day.
