Did you know children who don't read over the summer experience summer learning loss?  And the effect is cumulative. Kids who lose reading skills over the summer will be two years behind their classmates by the end of 6th grade. The Friends of the Madison Public Library June book sale offers the perfect opportunity to encourage summer reading. The sale will feature a large selection of books for children and teens. Stop by the sale, and find the perfect summer vacation reading materials!

All current Friends of the Madison Public Library members get one free book. Renew your membership or join at the sale for this benefit.

This is a two day sale: Friday, June 15, 9am-6pm and Saturday, June 16, 9am-3pm.  Saturday bag sale 12-3pm; $5 per bag.
