Turville Point: Snow Flakes with Andria Blattner
Join Andria Blattner at the campfire to discover the beauty of individual snowflakes under a magnifying glass, then take a nature walk in the fresh snow and see what birds and animals are out and about in the woods and along beautiful Lake Monona in winter.

Free, family-friendly Bird and Nature Walks are offered year-round on Sunday afternoons 1:30-3:00 pm by Madison Parks and FUN: Friends of Urban Nature partner groups. Join the FUN!

Discover the scenic paths and hidden natural areas in four beautiful Madison area parks and conservancies throughout the seasons. Trained naturalist and volunteer walk leaders share their enthusiasm about nature and the trees, flowers, butterflies, birds, and animals we see along the way. Enjoy kid friendly healthy outdoor nature recreation and fascinating nature education close to home!

Walks are free and informal and no registration is required. Please wear appropriate clothing, insect repellant, and footwear for the weather and hiking. Dogs are not allowed. Binoculars, cameras and children are welcome! For more information or to volunteer, contact Paul Noeldner (608) 698-0104.
