If you want the Clerk's Office to send you an absentee ballot, the Clerk's Office needs to receive your request by 5 p.m. today.  Please note that in order for your ballot to be counted, it needs to be delivered to your polling place on Election Day by either the Clerk's Office or someone you designate to deliver the ballot to your polling location.  Postmarks do not matter; ballots received after Election Day are not counted, in accordance with State Statute.  Please read the absentee voting instruction letter carefully.  We want your vote to count!

Voters who are indefinitely confined to their homes have an extra day to get their absentee request to the City Clerk's Office.  The Clerk's Office needs to receive absentee requests for indefinitely confined voters no later than 5 p.m. the Friday before an election.

Voters who are hospitalized or are serving on a sequestered jury may appoint someone to pick up their absentee ballot from the Clerk's Office.  The Clerk's Office may issue absentee ballots for hospitalized voters and sequestered jury voters until 5 p.m. on Election Day.
