Why buy the cards when you can craft for free? Use Anthology's pretty papers, decorative-edge scissors, glitter, and more to craft holiday greeting cards that friends and family will treasure. This workshop will be led by Laura Komai, who owns Anthology gift shop on State Street with her sister. Anthology is a paper and craft shop in downtown Madison that features works by the two Komai sisters as well as over 100 local and indie artists from around the country. The mission of the store is to facilitate creativity and we hope to inspire people to support local artists and pursue their own creative endeavors. Limited space; registration is required. This event is part of the BOOM series at Alicia Ashman Branch Library, which features events ranging from film to speakers to activities geared for boomers and other adults. Call 824-1780 to register.
