The Early Birds with Chuck Henrikson ~ Spring is here and birds are singing!  Join avid birder Chuck Henrikson to look for early Spring birds at Picnic Point, scope for migrating waterfowl on University Bay, and find out who has arrived in other areas of the Lakeshore Preserve. Are the Bluebirds back at the Biocore Prairie? Bring binoculars or a camera if you have one!

Join a naturalist for a family-friendly nature walk starting at Picnic Point to discover the UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve including historic woodlands, native mounds, restored Biocore Prairie and beautiful Lake Mendota shoreline. Walks at UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve the 4th Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City FUN partners Friends of the Lakeshore Nature Preserve and Madison Audubon Society.
