*Special* MSCR Pontoon Nature Tours with Alex Jeffers and Paul Noeldner ~ 1650 Sherman Avenue, meet at the Tenney Park MSCR Pontoon Boat Pier at the end of the parking lot across Sherman Avenue from the Tenney Locks Lake Mendota boat launch. Overflow parking is available on the other side of the Yahara canal.

Enjoy FREE MSCR Pontoon Nature Tours at 1pm and 2:30pm! Pontoons are limited to 15 people each tour. Arrive early at the Pontoon dock to check in with MSCR staff and get your life jacket. Avid birder Alex Jeffers and naturalist Paul Noeldner will help you learn about lake nature and look for birds. Learn about SECCI disks and other tools for water quality testing. Outings are free, fun, family friendly and educational. No registration required, no pets. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and a possibly wet boat ride. Bring binoculars or a camera if you have one!

Enjoy nature in Tenney Park along Lake Mendota and the Yahara River Parkway bike path through the Madison Isthmus! Free, family-friendly walks at Tenney Park are held the first Saturday of each month, from 2:30-4pm and begin at the Tenney Beach parking lot, 1300 Sherman Avenue. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature, Madison Parks, Madison Audubon Society, Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association and Friends of the Yahara River Parkway. No registration required and no pets, please.
