Up A Creek With A Paddle!  Join nature lover Carl Landsness with Friends of Starkweather Creek and Deborah Crabtree with Goodman Community Center to explore beautiful Starkweather Creek in the heart of Madison's East Side!  Free, family friendly, no registration required. 

**A limited number of canoes and kayaks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring thier own watercraft, paddles and life jackets.**

Outings in the Starkweather Creek area begin 10:00am at the Goodman Community Center, unless noted otherwise, are held the 3rd Saturday of every month, year-round. Outings include nature walks, canoe/kayak adventures, bicycling tours and more, and are sponsored by the Madison Friends of Urban Nature partners, Madison Audubon Society, and Friends of Starkweather Creek.
