Bird & Nature Outing - Edna Taylor Conservation Park Area, August 26
Help save Whooping Cranes! Join Aldo Leopold Naturalist Emily Steinwehe and Lizzie Condon with the International Crane Foundation to learn about the endangered Whooping Crane. We will take a family friendly hike to Edna Taylor Conservation Park to view urban crane wetland and prairie upland habitat, and if lucky we may see some of our local Sandhill Cranes and a colt, which is what we call a young crane. Free nature outing, no registration required.
Park and Meet: Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive
Walks through the Edna Taylor Conservation Park are held on the 4th Saturday, 10-11:30am of each month and begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center.
