Learn about Trees with Sean Gere ~ Join Master Naturalist Tree Expert Sean Gere to explore hiking trails at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center and through the ponds and woodlands of beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park on Madison's southeast side. Sometimes we can't see the trees for the forest! Sean will help you identify different types of trees and learn fascinating facts about them. Along the way, Sean will also be happy to help you find and identify Spring birds singing among the new buds and leaves in the treetops.
Join a naturalist for an easy family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. Walks through the Edna Taylor Conservation Park are held on the 4th Saturday, 10-11:30am of each month and begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive. Co-sponsored by Madison Parks, Madison Audubon Society, and Aldo Leopold Nature Center. No registration required. No pets are allowed.
