This ten week course is for adults and teens (13+) wanting to learn to sew. You will learn skills such as fabric and pattern selection, reading and layout; fitting, pressing, and construction of a simple garment of your choice. Also includes hand stitching, technical use of sewing machine. Please bring your own machine as it is best to learn on your own machine. There will be three machines available for participants if you do not own a machine. This class is taught by Vernetta Reid. She has over 40 years of sewing experience.
