Meet Artist in Residence Rain Wilson for an opportunity to engage in a dialog about issues surrounding social justice and any issue created through oppression your community. Join your ideas with others to create a collaborative piece of art, a collage of words, poetry, images, and expressions. Because of the techniques of collage it has a way of allowing entrance into a conversation about brokenness, fractured pieces, being whole or not, and feeling torn. This work will be a part of a larger community mural project raising awareness around these issues to be displayed at Madison Public Library. The Mural will be revealed at a celebratory event on Thursday, May 28th from 6-8 at Central Library. Ages 16 and up. Please plan to stay for the full length of the event. Can't wait to see you there! The Bubbler is funded from a grant from the Institute of Museums and Libraries.
